About Me
Hi, I’m Kara (rhymes with Sara). I write short stories and op-eds that usually start with a feeling and unravel from there. Sometimes thoughtful and lyrical, sometimes witty and biting, always personal. I’m full of ideas and opinions and have never shied away from expressing either.
You can find me in Atlanta, GA, where I balance writing with long walks, iced vanilla lattes, and true crime documentaries. I enjoy traveling, keeping up with politics, and anything that requires solving puzzles—which may explain my penchant for Agatha Christie novels.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Education, both of which helped shape my curiosity about people, patterns, and the stories we tell. Whether I’m writing fiction or commentary, I aim to create work that resonates, entertains, and occasionally stirs the pot.
“For what it’s worth… it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be.”
